Travel – Road Trips For You And Your Family. Is your family the type to plan every move on your road trip… Or do you simply point the car and start driving? No matter your type you need to be safe throughout your trip.

Whichever camp you are in remember to stay safe along the way. You want to have adequate clothing and blankets in your car. You might not find a place to stay at night. This can happen if you go out traveling during the vacation season without a hotel reservation.

You might be surprised to learn there are no vacancies. So you will have to sleep in your car.

You of course need extra water. You can do without food a lot longer than do without water.

Take a complete first aid kit with you on your trip. Carry some tools to fix basic engine problems. And remember to carry a properly inflated spare tire with and the jack to change a flat tire. And if you pick up hitch hikers think twice.

Have all important documents like your insurance and registration information at hand. And have back up copies at home. Make sure your cell phone is always charges. Have a charger that works off your cigarette lighter. Have all emergency numbers on speed dial. Travel – Road Trips can be a real fun time for all. But make sure to take the safety precautions to keep it fun for you and your family.

When you are camping, if you have a car, you may not be able to stuff all of your stuff in the car and that is where roofracks come in handy. Thule roofracks are not only high quality, but they are also cheap and easy to install.
